Remansia is that place: a corner to come back to for a few minutes a day, with no goals to meet and nothing to lose. Just water, light and some koi waiting for you.

How it plays

A few minutes in Remansia

There are no instructions or levels. You open the app, the pond is there, and everything begins with a touch.

    Touch the water

    Every touch sends ripples slowly across the faceted water and plays a kalimba note. The notes follow the Japanese yo scale, so they never clash: the middle of the pond sings low and the edge sings high.

    The koi come over

    Your koi feel the water move and swim over to see. They nibble at the surface, let out a bubble or two… and the chagoi, the boldest of all, always arrives first.

    Every nibble helps them grow, slowly: from fry to young, adult and, in time, majestic. And when you look after them, each day a new koi may rise from the depths of the pond.

Eleven varieties to discover

Every koi has its own markings, so no two are alike. Your pond starts with three; the others arrive over time.

  • Kohaku

    White with large red patches. The classic koi.

  • Chagoi

    Tea-coloured. The boldest: always first to come.

  • Ogon

    Golden and metallic; it gleams in the sun.

  • Sanke

    White, with red and small strokes of black.

  • Showa

    Black, with large red and white patches.

  • Asagi

    A blue-grey back and orange fins.

  • Tancho

    White, with a single red circle on its head.

  • Ki Utsuri

    Black with yellow patches like the evening sun.

  • Platinum

    White and pearly, like the moon on the water.

  • Kujaku

    The peacock: netted scales on a pearly body.

  • Goshiki

    Five colours blended into a dark, elegant tone.

  • Butterfly fins

    Roughly one koi in seven arrives with long fins that flow as it swims.
